Webinar 1: The importance of Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace.
The first webinar developed our employee's knowledge and understanding of the principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion and how these apply to an organisational context. The session explored some benefits of having a diverse workforce and used case studies to understand how discrimination can occur at work. Finally, the session introduced the concept of unconscious bias and critical strategies for creating inclusive workplaces and left our employees with the confidence and competence to promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in their everyday work lives.
