In a move to offer a broader range of environmental services to the environment team's clients, Fiona Symes, Associate Director and Jackelyn Wren, Senior Environmental Specialist attended a two-day online training course with the Emirates Green Building Council on the 8th and 9th July 2020.
The Course provided a background to building retrofit, providing economically viable methods that can be implemented to improve a building's environmental performance by reducing energy and water use, reducing waste output and enhancing indoor air quality for health benefits.
The environment team hope that this is the first step in offering an exciting array of 'green building' services to Clients, including energy and waste auditing, recommissioning, enhancing efficiency and provision of environmental management advice.
