Meet Jeremy Foster - Technical Director

We are extremely proud of our people at ByrneLooby and how our engineers help create positive outcomes for local communities and further afield.

This is a big congratulations and proud shout-out to Jeremy Foster, (known by us as Jez) a Technical Director at ByrneLooby, An Ayesa Company London who recently helped to raise over £6k for the RNLI, the Firefighter Charity, Sea Change Challenge Trust, and the Royal Free Hospital Charity by racing in the UKFSC (UK Fire Fighters Sailing Challenge) as part of the “London 3” crew.

UK Fire Fighters Sailing Challenge: ByrneLooby supported the UK Fire-Fighters Sailing Challenge (UKFSC) by providing jackets to Jeremy’s ‘London 3’crew.
The UKFSC is the National Sailing Championships for Firefighters of the United Kingdom held at Solent. Each year, 30 boats, manned by firefighters and emergency responders race together to raise much-needed funds for key charities through sponsorship. Jez has been part of the “London 3” crew since 20

Volunteering Initiative: While Jez is not a firefighter, during his downtime, he is dedicated to helping communities and local charities through volunteering and using his engineering expertise to help others: He was part of the official DfID (Department for International Development, now the FCDO Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) Emergency Response Engineering team which was deployed to Nepal after the 2015 earthquake. This engineering team also helped in the Tacloban after the Yolanda typhoon.

Yes Attitude: At work, Jeremy is equally passionate about conservation and buildings. In 2021, ByrneLooby was appointed to the Associate Model of the National Trust, so Jeremy’s team can be found preserving and protecting some of our most precious buildings in the UK.

Pictured are the team with their ByrneLooby jackets. Crew skipper, Gary Pile commented:

“The matching jackets made all the difference!"

ByrneLooby would love to say the jackets provided that winning “X Factor”, but we are sure it was a result of the hard work and determination of the London 3 crew, who won a key race and were placed as the first of 9 London-based crews.
