Our collaboration with Principal Contractor J Murphy & Sons and associated sub-contractors proved decisive, swiftly stepping in to assist Network Rail. Despite affecting only one track, the line had to be temporarily closed for a comprehensive repair, causing a temporary disruption.The project team comprising Network Rail, Murphy, Ayesa - UK and Ireland, SG Elite Ltd, SEP Rail Services , LAND RECOVERY RAIL LIMITED, and MGF, acted decisively to ensure the safety of the line. The emergency solution that was implemented comprised the installation of a 40-meter-long wall, consisting of 65 steel sheet piles and 300 tonnes of ballast to reinstate the track bed.
