News Release: Wednesday, 26 July 2022
For over 17 years, ByrneLooby has worked as an engineering consultant on the Arklow Flood Relief Scheme in County Wicklow assisting our partners, OPW and Wicklow County Council by providing services such as engineering reports, cost-benefit analysis, planning stage design and contributing to the preparation of the EIAR (Environmental Impact Assessment Report).

We are now delighted to report a major milestone for the Arklow Flood Relief scheme as planning approval has been granted by An Bord Pleanála on Tuesday 19th July 2022. The estimated €28 million scheme will benefit 637 homes and 141 businesses in the town, that have been exposed to flooding events over the past two decades.
